IMPORTANT UPDATE for Manistee Main Library -- Due to the closure of some of our public exits for parking lot construction - the top floor of Manistee Main Library is currently closed. Asphalt is currently being poured on the large parking lot off Poplar. Concrete is being poured on handicap accessible parking spaces, ramp and retaining wall off First Street. The main floor and mezzanine remain open for public use. The Maple Street stairwell entrance remains open. Pardon our dust. The Manistee County Library is undergoing necessary repairs that may temporarily interrupt access to some parts of the building. This is a temporary operational issue and not a permanent change to accessibility or services. The library remains committed to providing equitable access, and our employees are available to assist with in-person, curbside, telephone, and online requests.
